...and the gender is....

a HEALTHY Baby GIRL. Here are a couple of pics from the ultrasound and a couple of the beautiful pregnant Mom...

Michael's First Baby Purchase

Here are (2) little onesies Michael bought for our baby last Thursday...they are hilarious, but true.

Today is the Day - Boy or Girl?

It is your turn to chime in...we are about to depart for the day, the BIG day- The day we find out if we will buy Pink or Blue...I say Boy, Michael thinks it is a girl...We are both excited and pray that Dr. Blank will be able to distinguish the sex of the baby.

What are your thoughts??? We will know today by 4pm Lord willing!!! Thanks to everyone for your prayers for the health of mommy & the baby - they are very much appreciated!

Second Heartbeat Dr. Visit

It has slowed down a little bit today (June 27th), to 151 beats per minute...boy or girl? Michael thinks it is a girl and I think it is a Boy (mother's know!)...Officially, we will know on July 23rd...cannot wait...

Michael says the heartbeat monitor looks like a Fisher Price toy...what do YOU think?

Hearing the Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time

Can you say nervous? We waited nearly 90 seconds for Dr. Blank to find the heartbeat...excitement and anticipation turned to nervousness, thinking that something might have gone wrong.

Then, out of nowhere, we heard the rapid heartbeat of the little raspberry...161 heartbeats per minute...Is it a girl or boy? Only God knows at this point!

We both pray every night that God will nourish the little baby and prepare us to be the Christian parents that He would have us be...

Seeing the Baby's Heartbeat for the Very First Time

I was very worried about the abdominal pains I was having on the vacation to Disney. According to Dr. Blank, everything was fine.

I was examined and they showed us the heart beat blinking very rapidly on the screen. Pictured is our very first Ultrasound.

Pregnant and Destined for Disney World

We found out that we had a little one on the way...two weeks before our trip to Disney World. What does that mean? Can I ride the rides?

Well, we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for four nights - what a thrill! We saw Giraffes, gazelle, wildabeasts, antelope and some impalas right outside our patio.

Our first day, we went to the Animal Kingdom (Mt. Everest Ride was awesome according to Michael) & ate dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe. The second day we went to Universal Studios...we were too hot, so we did not stay very long. On Saturday, we concluded our trip by visiting Epcot.

Even though we had a great time on the trip, I experienced a lot of abdominal pain during the trip and was very worried.

A little Langley is on the Way!!!

It was a warm April evening when Julie and I decided to take a walk. We walked down the street and began talking with some neighbors (Rusty and his wife). We asked Rusty's wife what she did for a living and she responded, "I paint baby murals".

I thought that was cool, but had no idea that the Baby subject had anything to do with me! As we walked away, Julie grabbed my hand and explained that she was not going to the doctor's office for the reason she had told me. I was miffed. She had told me earlier in the week that she was going to the doctor's office for an existing problem. She asked me if I was ready to be a "Dad"...

I responded "Are you serious? That is AWESOME!" We hugged and kissed each other. I felt like I was walking on Cloud 9 the rest of the night!!! We went home and prayed that God would have his will in our lives and especially through Julie's pregnancy.
