Almost ONE, but sick as can be!
Well, I had my first birthday party this past Saturday. It was great. Unfortunately, though, I am getting sicker by the day. I have been diagnosed with an upper respitory virus, which means that I will have to wait it out. Until I get through this current sickness, please enjoy these pictures of me enjoying my birthday cake!

You've really had a tough go of it this year, little one, but you still have my vote for Time Magazines's Person of the Year Award! I can't believe that it's almost been a year since the Lord blessed us with your presence! In that short amount of time, it seems that I've only just begun to get to know you, and I laugh because you still don't have the slightest inkling as to who I am. In your twelve months of life, I have watched you from afar, and have been amazed at how beautiful and wondrous a gift like you can be. You have reminded me, almost on a dailey basis, just how precious life is, and I can honestly say that I am touched and honored to be your Great Uncle Al! I look forward with great anticipation to the coming months in which you will undoubtedly begin to figure out just exactly who that lowlife Uncle of yours is who keeps posting absurd and ridiculous comments on your blog! When that heralded day finally arrives, then I will consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth! I love you, Autumn, more than words can say, and I hope that you have the happiest and most memorable birthday ever!

She looks like she may have been in a cake eating contest before. Haha. I am sorry Autumn is so sick...Will was very sick last week and ended up with a double ear infection. Don't you just wish it could be you instead? Poor little thing.
