Midnight is here and the moon glows bright! Just enough time to share with you a fright! So lend an ear and I'll tell you a tale! But stay close to me for the air grows stale! Ghostly whispers are all around! Hold my hand and don't make a sound! Pray if you must but keep your eyes open! God will save us, or so I'm hopin'! Now comes the time when the night is the darkest! And the evil within is not for the meekest! Spectral visions are appearing at will! Their tormented souls make your heart stand still! You call out for help but no one is there! Just the smoke from your breath in the cold night air! Sweat pours from your brow as you try to run! But the nightmare, alas, has only begun! Icy fingers reach out from an unknown place! Then vanish abruptly without a trace! You muster up courage to try and scream! And hope that this night is only a dream! Then suddenly from beyond comes a sound so sweet! And the chorus of many chanting "Trick or Treat!"
